Bereits in einem meiner allerersten Blog-Einträge philosophierte ich über den Relaunch der amerikanischen Website von M.A.C. Cosmetics. Und ich habe mich seither gefragt, wann die neue CI-Bibel von Estée Lauder auch in unseren Breiten aufgeschlagen und die deutsche Website in puncto Layout nachziehen würde. So wirklich hat sich nichts am Layout verändert, was Farben und Struktur betrifft, aber - auf der Startseite erwartet den Kosmetik-interessierten Netz-Surfer nun ein Gewinnspiel zur aktuellen Kollektion Make-Up Art Cosmetics. Als Preis lockt ein exklusiv für M.A.C. entworfenes Kunstwerk der Fotografin Marilyn Minter. Dem geneigten Betrachter fällt aber auf, dass die aktionsbezogene Startseite nun deutlich mehr an das amerikanische Layout anlehnt und ebenfalls Flash-basiert ist. Ob ein Relaunch der deutschen Seite sich auf diesem Weg langsam andeutet?
